The conceptual project turns into reality by using the method of Twinning. Twinning is the action of matching public spaces sited in the historical center with others in the periphery, and tracing relevant paths to connect them. Each path would have a different theme, specifically related to the places which are being connected. The different paths would therefore offer different themes for collaboration and mutual support between the historic city and its periphery.
The instruments to be used to achieve the goal are various. The contemporary city is organized on multiple levels, both real and virtual, in which real squares are glued with telematic ones. To consider this new aspects of society
Lo strumento che abbiamo individuato per realizzare questo interscambio è il Twinning.
Il twinning è un operazione di "gemellaggio" in cui abbiamo individuato una serie di spazi pubblici, del centro e della periferia, uniti da un percorso fisico e percettivo e da che li accomuna. In questa ottica i vari spazi pubblici lavorano insieme per creare nuove opportunità di socialità.
